ENGLISH
Granada is small and easy to walk, so any hotel in the centre will do. The one thing that matters: the shuttle bus to the wedding leaves from the city centre, so the closer you are to it, the better.
Our recommendation
We have arranged a discount at the Meliá Granada, on calle Ángel Ganivet, just off Puerta Real. Book on the Meliá website using code FFFF-FJYRFMZHJW.
If you would rather look yourself
The centre, between Gran Vía and Puerta Real, is the most practical choice: flat, well connected and a couple of minutes from the shuttle stop. The Realejo, the old Jewish quarter, is just as central and has more character, with stone streets and old taverns. The Albaicín and Sacromonte are the prettiest parts of Granada and have the best views of the Alhambra, but they are steep and cobbled and cars barely reach them: lovely for a walk, awkward with a suitcase and wedding shoes.
Near the Hotel & Winery Señorío de Nevada
The Valle de Lecrín has small rural hotels and guesthouses a few minutes from the venue. We only recommend this if you are driving and fancy the countryside, as there is no public transport and you will be a long way from Granada.
