Q & A

When is the RSVP deadline?

15th July 2017

Are children welcome?

We are extremely fond of our family and friends' children, but owing to space considerations, we have not invited children (except nursing babies) to attend. Consider it a night off!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 2:00pm at St Mary the Virgin church in Nettlestead (next to Nettlestead Place). We suggest that you arrive at the church no later than 1:45pm. Please note that it is a small church and space will be limited within the pews. Additional seating will be available in the side stalls, choir and back benches. The church has its own pedestrian walkway leading you from the main road to the church.

Where should I park?

For those driving, there will be a sign outside Nettlestead Place on Maidstone Road (B2015) directing you to park in the designated wedding car park at Nettlestead Court Farm. From the car park it is a 5 minute walk to the church, please follow the signs provided. It is kindly requested that you do not park at the private house due to space restrictions and accessibility for the residents.

Is confetti allowed?

Only biodegradeable/real flower petals can be used outside the church and also at Nettlestead Place

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes they are, please follow the signs provided and if assistance is required on the day of the wedding please consult with the ushers.

What time will the reception end?

Carriages will be at 1130pm and guests should be collected from the Nettlestead Court Farm car park. We suggest you pre-order a taxi due to the location of Nettlestead Place. You can find the contact details of local taxi companies on the 'Travel' page.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Bring your dancing shoes!

Ladies may want to bring a pair of high heel stoppers as the marquee for the reception will be on the lawn in front of the main house.

Is there a gifts registry?

Already long settled into our home in Plumstead we are lucky enough to have everything that we need, so your company on our special day is all that we could ask for.

However, if you are inclined to make a contribution, we'd ask that you make a donation to The Catherine Pointer Memorial Library on behalf of the Compassionate Friends. Please find a link to the page below:

The Catherine Pointer Memorial Library - Compassionate Friends
www.justgiving.com/Joandjonocharity2017

If you are determined to give us something personally, a small contribution to our honeymoon would also be welcome. Thank you X.

Whom should I call with questions?

- Before the wedding day, please call, text or whatsapp Jono on 07951499942 or Jo on 07716332598 with any wedding related questions.

- On the day of the wedding, please call Finley (head usher) on 07940407067. As mobile reception is limited in the area, if you are unable to reach Finley and you need to get in touch please call the Nettlestead Place land line on 01622812205.
