Story
Jake and Hannah first met at a Halloween party! Jake was dressed up as a wrestler (he completed the look with a handlebar mustache), and he won the costume contest. The prize was a Halloween treat bucket full of shots-- which he shared with Hannah. She was equally charmed by his kindness and appalled by his costume. The rest is history!
Tidbits
Who made the first move? How?
That depends on which person you ask...
Who's going to take out the trash?
Hannah ties & replaces the bag; Jake takes it out to the curb.
What was your most memorable date?
At the end of their first summer together, Jake & Hannah rented a cabin in Lake Placid for a weekend. It was the best getaway, and they have made it a tradition every summer since!
We’re on the same page about
Being crazy dog parents
A life goal of ours
To own a camp and a boat someday
How did you propose?
Jake asked Hannah to marry him at the golf course with her sister and his brother present. He proposed in a beautiful spot on the golf course that overlooks the house where she grew up. Family and friends were waiting at Jake's parent's house for a surprise engagement party immediately after. The night ended with fireworks and sparklers!

Q & A
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
Can I bring a date?
Due to limited seating capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests named on your invitation. Please reach out if you are unsure!
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only occasion.
I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?
We recommend staying in Plattsburgh or Malone, with Plattsburgh being the closer option. Our venue provides a free shuttle service to any hotels or residences (within a 60-mile radius) at the end of the night.
What will the weather be like?
It’s hard to say what the weather will be like on the big day! Luckily, both the ceremony chapel, and reception hall are both fully covered, incase of rain. The ceremony is in a covered outdoor chapel, and the reception is indoors (and air-conditioned).
Where should I park?
There is lots of parking on the property. Guests can park in the parking lot closest to the road (when you first pull in), or drive over the covered bridge to another parking lot that is closer to the ceremony and reception spaces. The ceremony chapel is just a few hundred feet from the reception hall, and both are walking distance from any parking lot on the property.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Feel free to take pictures with friends and family at the reception! We do ask that you refrain from taking any photos during the ceremony, as we would like the moment to be ever-present.
What should/could I do between the ceremony and the reception?
We will have cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres in the reception hall immediately following the ceremony. Again, the ceremony chapel and reception hall are on the same property, so guests can walk straight from the ceremony to cocktail hour in the reception hall.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
Please reach out to Hannah, Jake, either sets of parents, or our maid of honor, Lauren, (number is listed below) if you have any allergies or restrictions. We want to make sure everyone is fed!
Whom should I call with questions?
Please call or text our lovely maid of honor, Lauren, with any questions (518-317-0532)
