New Orleans, LA
Travel and Accomodations
"There is no place on earth remotely like New Orleans. Don't even try to compare it to anywhere else." - Anthony Bourdain
Arrival
We recommend flying into New Orleans (MSY) in plenty of time to attend our Welcome Party on the evening of the Thursday, the 11th. If you are coming from Seattle, Alaska Airlines is the only carrier with a direct flight (ASA568), arriving daily at 4pm.
Getting Into Town
There are lots of ways to get into the heart of New Orleans! There is a taxi stand at the first curb right outside of MSY baggage claim and Lyft/Uber also has pickups from the second curb outside (look for Zone 2). We would encourage you not to rent a car unless you absolutely need one because parking downtown can be expensive and New Orleans is easily walkable!
Hilton New Orleans on St. Charles Avenue
This is where we are having our hotel room block. It is located downtown on the St. Charles Streetcar line and a 5-minute walk from the French Quarter. Use the link below to book at the block rate.

Vacation Rental
If you prefer to find a vacation rental instead of staying at a hotel, please do so early as they generally fill quickly during French Quarter Fest weekend. There are tons of adorable, classic NOLA style homes for rent on AirBnB and VRBO, which would provide a unique experience in this historic city! If you choose to rent a house, please contact Jordan and Marcus before booking so we can ensure you are in a quality location. For reference, the address of the wedding venue is 3014 Dauphine St.

FAQs
If your question isn't answered below, feel free to reach out!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP as soon as possible, so we can have an accurate headcount.
Can I bring a date?
We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest! As we have a strict guest list to stay within our venue's capacity, we can only accommodate those listed on your specific invitation. Thank you for understanding!
Are kids welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event, so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!
What will the weather be like?
Welcome to the swamp! The weather in April is usually quite comfortable with plenty of sun, but there is always a chance of a brief shower. Be prepared to walk 10-15 minute jaunts around town in temperatures of about 75-80 degrees. The evening will be cooler, around 60-65, so bring a light layer for going out!
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our brief ceremony will be outdoors on the rooftop, likely with the sun still shining. The remainder of the event will be indoors.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Do not wear stiletto heels. We repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. The streets and sidewalks of New Orleans are notorious for swallowing pointy heels and twisting ankles. We recommend wearing shoes you can comfortably walk and dance in!
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
We have a professional photographer to capture all the angles during our ceremony, so please put your phones away during this time and enjoy the moment! After the ceremony, beginning with the Second Line Parade, we encourage you to take tons of photos and videos!
