Gifts

This is often said but believe us when we say, your presence is enough of a present to us!
However should you want to get us a gift we would be very grateful for some items to continue making our new house our home. We will share some ideas through a gift registry.
With all things Covid related, we are yet to plan a honeymoon and therefore would also welcome contributions towards planning something special when we may be able to travel safely again.

Beautiful South Wales

If you have some time before or after the wedding and are looking to explore South Wales, we would strongly encourage you to do so! Our personal favourite places to visit are Southerndown and the secret gardens on the South Wales coast or if you fancy a hike, head to the Brecon Beacons and climb up Pen y Fan.
If you want any more information or ideas on where to visit whilst you're here just ask, Aimee needs little encouragement to do her bit for the Welsh tourist board!

Q & A

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!

Where should I park?

There is a free car park behind the church in Llanishen with limited spaces, other options near the church include on street parking on the surrounding streets.

The reception venue Pencoed House is approximately a 20 minute drive from the church.

There is parking at the reception venue Pencoed House, but the venue has informed us that no cars are allowed to be left on site overnight.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony is indoors, weather permitting we may be able to have welcome drinks outside, otherwise the remainder of the reception will be indoors.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We would love you to take as many photos during our wedding but kindly ask that you do not take any photos during the wedding ceremony until asked by the Vicar.

What time should I arrive?

The wedding ceremony will start at 12:30pm, we would therefore recommend you aim to arrive at the church for midday.

What should I wear?

Dress code is lounge suits

What time will the reception end?

The wedding reception will end at midnight.
The venue is 5miles outside of Cardiff so we’d recommend booking taxis in advance for the end of the night.
