Ellen and Alex met on October 6th 2017 in Caffeine and Cocktails bar in Reading, Ellen having been invited to Aaron's (Groomsman) birthday party by Jack (Groomsman). They quickly became best friends and spent all their spare time together until Ellen famously told her brother James (Groomsman) 'I cannot, not be with Alex' and went to find him to tell him how she felt. The night after their first date Ellen was offered a job in London and had to tell Alex she would be moving away! Alex thought the date had gone badly so Ellen had to quickly show her commitment to their relationship by flying to San Francisco for the grand total of 2 days and eating crab brains on their second date! Alex spent a lot of time in London with Ellen at the start of their relationship, until COVID struck! Not wanting to separate from each other they moved into Alex's Annex whilst his house was being renovated & spent a year together forming quarantine cooks, learning everything about each other and developing their shared love of wine. In January 2021 they got their adorable kitten Truffles who they both love so much. In November 2021 Alex proposed to Ellen in the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, overlooking the Bellagio fountains, they were so excited they couldn't finish their meal or wine that night which is a first for both of them!

Ellen and Alex have lots in common, they love music, food, socialising, parties, cats, travelling and wine and hope to share with you all a day filled with their favourite things.
