Once upon a time, a girl named Melissa moved to the town of Billerica, where she met little Alex and they became the best of friends. In their adventures, they would often venture back to Melissa's hometown in Revere to hang out with Kiana. During this time, Kiana always had her nose in a book because she was studying for law school, which is where she met her now husband, Jeff. With the start of Jeff and Kiana's relationship came the introduction of Kiana's friends to Jeff's friends. When Alex and Jacob first met, Alex could tell Jacob wanted to get to know her more, but she had no interest in a relationship. So they became friends and after a few years Alex was ready to take the dive. Fast forward, Alex and Jacob have now been together for 7 years. They bought a house together in January, 2021 and welcomed their fur baby Gabby in June, 2021. Next step is to tie the knot with all their loved ones by their side in October, 2023!
Tidbits
What was your most memorable date?
Hmm, maybe when we biked 30 miles in Connecticut and it ended up pouring rain and then we had the most delicious breakfast after. Or when we scaled the side of a mountain (straight slab of rock grasping at tree roots) for a over a mile in the Adirondacks and I had several panic attacks... until we finally made it to the top with the most amazing view.
What's your favorite activity together?
Well, I love food, so probably going out to dinner or cooking dinner together. Going to shows and music festivals, skiing, hiking, kayaking, beach naps, camping, and adventures with Gabby.
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
Singapore and Thailand!

You can fly into Boston Logan International Airport (which is a little over an hour from the Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center).
Getting to the hotel
If you are flying in, renting a car is the easiest way to get to the hotel. You can find the best deal by using a search engine such as Kayak, Priceline, or Orbitz.

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by July 30, 2023, so we can have an accurate headcount. The sooner the better!
What will the weather be like?
The weather could change, but it looks like it's going to be around 60 degrees and rainy. The ceremony is outside under a covered pavilion, so please dress warm. We will then be inside for the rest of the night.
What should I wear?
Cocktail attire - wear what sparks joy and is comfortable so you can enjoy yourself! Feel free to bring a comfy pair of shoes to change into. The groomsmen will be in dark gray and the bridesmaids will be in hues of terracotta.
Where should I park?
There is plenty of free parking in the lot at Camp Joslin. We will also be providing a shuttle from the Southbridge Hotel to the venue. Please indicate if you plan to take the shuttle on your RSVP.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors (under a pavilion) and our reception will be indoors.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. After we tie the knot, snap away!
How will food and drinks be served?
Buffet style and open bar! If you have dietary restrictions please let us know.
Does your wedding have a theme?
Our theme is autum boho. Think pampas grass, flowers in shades of teracotta, brown glass bottles, lots of candles, and fairy lights.
Will there be other events outside of the wedding?
Yes, we will have a rehearsal dinner and welcome to all guests at Fins and Tails restaurant. All guests in the area on Friday night are welcome to come by! Saturday night is the wedding and we will have an after party at the hotel. Breakfast will also be served at the hotel after the wedding on Sunday.
Is there WIFI at the venue?
Yes!
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes, they are.
