Our Story
How we met?
The short answer is the old-fashioned way (in a bar). The longer answer is actually a drinking spelling bee at the 331 Club. It was a night filled with plenty of beer and words to misspell. Most importantly, the perfect opportunity for us to meet!
We are so grateful to share our relationship and soon-to-be marriage with you. After our first encounter, we were nearly inseparable as we share common goals, dreams, and interests, alongside the real love that we share with one another. Before we knew it, Alicia started CrossFit and Daniel started figure skating, as well as, becoming parents to our crazy border collie duo. We have huge goals to travel the world and experience everything life has to offer. We are more than excited to have you there on our big day!
How he proposed?
I got the most wonderful Christmas gift that came a little bit early... On December 24, 2019, we were skating at an outdoor ice rink in the middle of downtown Milwaukee. When admiring the gorgeous views and beautiful decorations, we were of course taking a million selfies when a kind stranger offered to take our photo. What a perfect opportunity! Daniel asked him to stay to take a picture from his phone when he pulled out the ring to ask me to marry him. Of course, I said yes and even got real photos of the engagement. Our new friend was on it and snapped a few of the moments. It was truly a memory worth remembering.
