#AllAboutTheAbrahams
How would you describe one another?
Ina is my Rock. She is God fearing, supportive, caring, faithful, and family oriented. She is my best friend and as beautiful inside as she is out. Someone who holds me accountable and challenges me to be a better man of God. A woman who gives her heart to the people she loves and to the people who are in need. A sleep and TV addict. Although, she gives up her sleep at times to participate in night life adventures. Someone who wants to travel the world until there is no more world to travel. My snack supplier. Someone who is known across the world as Ina "Hangry" Abraham. A woman who loves chicken nuggets, rice/chor, and buffalo sauce as a meal. Her fashion game and competitiveness cannot be touched by mere mortals. She's the one by my side to seek the answers to all of the world's problems to the one who I can sit on the couch and watch TV all day with. She holds it down like H-Tine🤘🏽. There is nobody like Ina and the impact she has had in my life is something that can't be put into words. She is my soon to be wife and the best woman a man can ask for.

Christo is my heart. He is an independent, brave, strong willed, passionate, handsome, loving, and God fearing man. His love for sweets, travel, and basketball competes with his love for me. He has convinced himself that he is faster than me in a foot race, but we both know that's not true. He eats at the speed of light, but enjoys sharing his meals with me. He is a self proclaimed comedian and excellent at telling stories with unnecessary details. He finds me endearing even though I constantly bother him. He is organized, detailed oriented, and loves spreadsheets (like me). He is a great cook. He is social, beloved, and gets along with everyone. He is an impeccable and adventurous dresser. He is driven to be successful in all that he does. He is a man of his word who will do anything for those he loves. He is my best friend and the man I cannot wait to call my husband.
How did you propose?
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12:
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

From Ina's Perspective:
Friday, August 18, 2017 was the perfect day. I'm sure everyone says this, but it really was. It was the one weekday I had post a family vacation in Mexico, but before I started my new job. I was under the impression that Christo was in Houston for the week visiting his family (breaking news: he wasn't). One of my best friends (and now Maid of Honors) Bincy had asked me to hang out that day so we could celebrate her birthday. She had convinced me that her co-worker had sold her tickets for Hamilton (even showed me altered tickets to make it more believable) and I was more than willing to go with her. We got ready at my house, but all week she kept saying how she wanted to be dressed up because we were going to go out to a nice place before and after the show for some food and to meet up with some people. After a little bit of coercing I agreed to dress up and we headed Downtown.
She proceeded to tell me she had never seen the view from The Robey hotel and that she wanted to go there before going to dinner since we were so close by. I had agreed, but was a little suspicious because I knew the rooftop wasn't open for another hour. Needless to say we approached the concierge to ask if we could go to the rooftop and she said we were early, but that she would let us up there for a short while. I looked at Bincy and thought "Girl this is your lucky day!" We headed up the elevator to the 13th floor and it was empty since it hadn't opened yet. The woman led us outside (and I immediately thought WHY are we sitting in the sun when there are so many seats inside?!) and said that we could sit out here to enjoy the view or go into the cove area where they had a limited time gallery going on. (The cove is an enclosed cave-like space where you can sit and get served). I glanced towards the cove and started to freak out. I could see flower petals, candles and some pictures inside. I turned to Bincy and the woman and was like "OH MY GOODNESS... is this happening??" The woman disappeared as Bincy laughed and led me to the cove. I took a peek into the cove and Christo was no where to be found, so Bincy told me to go in and explore. So I did - this place was BEAUTIFUL. Gorgeous flower petals, candles and artwork adorned the space along with our initials made out of wine corks (I'm obsessed with wine corks). Christo had set-up pictures of us from different points in our relationship with notes detailing his favorite memories from that day. I remember trying to read slowly, because my brain was not processing what I was reading. The last card read "Are you ready for a lifetime of laughter, love and happiness? Well, what are you waiting for....come meet me outside!"
As I stepped out of the cove, there stood Christo in his double breasted powder blue suit and I just had a million questions. I remember him saying "Ina, this isn't over.. let's walk over here so you can see the view". He asked if he could read a Bible passage and then proceeded to read Ecclesiastes 4:9-12. He then said so many sweet words, got down on one knee and proposed! Apparently I was awkwardly laughing the whole time, but I swear my brain was not functioning properly. Right after, Christo had a few of my friends who had helped set-up come out and surprise me along with Veena who was taking our beautiful photos. Well, the surprises DIDN'T STOP THERE!
Christo then whisked me away to a surprise mini photo shoot in front of the Chicago graffiti wall in Logan Square where my family came and joined us! We took a few photos there and then headed to Christo's apartment for a quick pit stop. We went to the rooftop to take some photos and Christo's whole family was up there to my surprise! Christo then had said that we were going to meet our families at dinner, but since we were running late they were going to go ahead of us and we would meet them there. On our way to the restaurant, Christo pulled out a tablet with a video on it and told me to play it. As I pressed play, I watched a compilation of our loved ones (including my grandma in India) who couldn't be there wish us congrats. Needless to say I was emotional at that point and barely listening when Christo said he had forgot his credit card at The Robey hotel and asked if I would be okay with us stopping there before the restaurant. I nodded yes. As we entered the building and proceeded to the 2nd floor, we were greeted (and I was surprised) with all of our family and friends in one place. The rest of the evening was such a blur. All I know is that my heart was so full and Christo did an amazing job executing such a perfect and thoughtful day. Christo, I love you and cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you.

From Christo's Perspective:
I pulled up, read the Bible, got on one knee, and did the dang thang.
