Your presence at our wedding is more than enough! But, for those of you who are stubborn, a small contribution towards a post-COVID honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.
Q & A
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
What time should I arrive?
Our ceremony starts at 2pm, so please arrive to be seated with plenty of time.
Are children welcome?
We're having an adult-only do!
How do I get to the venue?
Pollokshields Burgh Hall is located only a two minute walk from Maxwell Park train station. It's also easily accessible via taxi and off-street parking is available nearby.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever makes you feel fabulous.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is indoors, but an outdoor area is available for the drinks reception if the weather allows.
Will there be any COVID-19 restrictions in place?
We're keeping an eye on government guidelines and hope most, if not all, restrictions will be lifted as planned before our big day. We'll post an update on our website nearer the time and recommend guests take a lateral flow test beforehand, if possible.
We know some guests might feel a bit nervous ahead of a big event and we respect any decisions you might take to feel safe and comfortable, even if the rules have been relaxed (i.e wearing a mask/ social distancing/ hazmat suit!).
Will there be any options for vegetarians/ pescatarians?
Yes, we will have options available if you are a vegetarian or pescatarian. If you have any other special dietary requirements, please let us know with your RSVP so we can accommodate.
Can I take and post photos of the wedding on social media?
We would prefer if just our photographers take pictures during the ceremony, otherwise feel free to snap away!
What time does the reception finish?
Taxis at 12am.
