A shuttle bus will arrive at both Sleep Inn & Suites and Country Inn & Suites at 4:00pm to pick up guests who have indicated they would like transportation to the wedding! The busses will leave the hotels promptly at 4:10pm to allow enough time for everyone to settle in before the ceremony begins.

For out of state travelers, we recommend flying into Roanoke, Richmond, or Charlottesville to shorten the length of your drive to the venue.

What is the difference between House Mountain Inn and Irvine Estate?
Irvine Estate is owned by House Mountain Inn and serves as one of the two venue locations they have on site. House Mountain Inn will be where the Welcome Party is happening on the evening of Friday, April 12th.
Irvine Estate is where the wedding ceremony & reception will happen on Saturday, April 13th. When driving up Lonesome Dove Trail Road, you will first see Irvine Estate (on your right) and must go up the hill to find parking. To reach House Mountain Inn, you will continue down the main road until you reach the next parking lot.
Can I bring a date?
Due to limited venue space, we are asking that only those specified on the invitation attend.
Are kids welcome?
Kids that are directly related to the bride or groom are invited to join the celebrations.
What will the weather be like?
April in Virginia in the mountains can be a toss up! Please check the local weather leading up to the event and dress accordingly. Our ceremony & cocktail hour will occur in a covered outdoor space and dinner will be indoors.
What should I wear?
Cocktail attire. Please dress for the weather!
Where should I park?
If you are not using the shuttle and prefer to drive yourself, parking attendants will be present to assist. There is plenty of parking at the venue.
I'm using the shuttle to get to/from the wedding. What time will I be picked up and dropped off?

One shuttle will return at 9:00pm to pick up any guests who'd like to leave the event early. Both shuttles will arrive to the venue at 10:30pm to ensure that all guests return to their hotels by 11:00pm.

Story
2004: First met at St. George's Camp at Shrine Mont in Orkney Springs, VA. They both remember participating in the canoe elective where there was an epic battle where canoes were tipped into dirty water and campers had to swim their way back to shore!
2011: They both became volunteers at St. Elizabeth's Camp (another Shrine Mont camp). Allie remembers Bryan helping her set up the straps on her new Chaco sandals (and showing off his fire-making skills around the campfire). Bryan remembers hearing Allie's wonderful laugh and seeing her great moves during the camp dances.
2017: Bryan is driving through Richmond, tries to take a left turn, and almost hits Allie with his car as she crosses the street! She doesn't notice. He messages her and they agree to catch up over dinner! They have a blast and quickly begin dating.
2020: Iroh joins the family!
2023: Bryan proposes on a local trail in their favorite city! Allie says yes!
