The Farewell

11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Come close out the weekend with us at a neighborhood favorite for brunch. Totally optional, but we'd to see you before you fly back home!

Story

Our story starts freshman year of high school when Nick decided to ask the cute girl for help with geometry homework. Nick's side of the story will add that he was actually a geometry wiz the whole time but this theory remains unproven. Nick's efforts didn't work at first as he was friend-zoned all the way until summer before senior year. Nothing like a "did you hear Nick likes so and so?" to get your blood boiling and realize you had actually fallen in love the whole time (here too, Nick will say that was a rumor he purposely planted but still remains unproven).

For the last several (*cough, 16+ cough*) years, together we've grown up, formulated life dreams, learned from mistakes, navigated NYC living (and become real NY-ers!), traveled to new places, rocked out at concerts, celebrated personal and professional wins, and held each other during our lows. All while falling even more in love everyday. We support each other no matter what life throws at us, and we bring out the best in each other because our successes (and losses) are shared. We wouldn't have it any other way.

Travel

Plane

Getting In

NYC has 3 main airports (JFK, LGA, and EWR). All 3 are equidistant to our venue; however, we recommend flying into John F. Kennedy (JFK) or La Guardia (LGA) Airport for ease of access to the city!

Note

Every season is tourist season in NYC. Please make your arrangements as soon as possible for the best rates and availability.

Car

Getting Around

There a lots of ways to get around NYC! Our #1 recommendation would be the subway. It's the fastest, easiest, and cheapest way to get around town (Use MTA transit website or Google Maps to plan your trips!). Second, Uber, Lyft, and Taxi's (try the Curbed app) are easily available. Lastly, it's NYC so we highly recommend walking as the city was design for walkability.

Q & A

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by April 23rd, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)

Can I bring a date?

Because of the intimate size of our celebration, we unfortunately can't accommodate +1s. We kindly ask only the names on your invitation attend.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time, or are happy to work with you to find a sitter locally for the evening so you can celebrate with us.

What will the weather be like?

Welcome to NYC, all of you out-of-towners! The weather is typically pretty nice in June. During the day, the weather in NYC should be beautiful, averaging 75°F to 82°F. At night, it will rarely fall below 65°F. Please bring some comfortable shoes for walking and maybe an umbrella for just in-case since it's Spring!

What should I wear?

Fancy and / or fun cocktail! Whether it's a short dress, fun pantsuit, or men's suit with or without a tie, just have fun! Formal long dresses and tuxes definitely not required but you do you :)

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony and reception are indoors, but our cocktail hour will held outside :)

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We have hired a wonderful photographer and videographer to capture the day. We want you to be fully present and we kindly ask you to please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.

Whom should I call with questions?

Please call or text Nick or Annalisa. We'd love to help you plan your trip!

Will there be dancing?

Absolutely! We'll be encouraging everyone to enjoy themselves on the dance floor post dinner!

Will you live stream your ceremony?

YES! We're going to try this!
We apologies in advance if it does not work and/or sound quality is bad! We appreciate you wanting to join us!

Is there a gifts registry?

Your presence is a present but if you'd like to give us a more traditional gift, we have created a Honeymoon fund registry. See below!

Registry

Your presence is enough of a present to us! But for those of you who are stubborn, we've put together a wish-list to help you out.
