Are kids welcome?
Since this event is an adult celebration, we are asking that children hang close to "home." We hope this will be a time for you take to take a break from those duties. If traveling with kiddos is a must, we suggest you reach out to your hotel concierge for childcare recommendations.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by August 15th or sooner, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)

What will the weather be like?
Welcome to Tennessee, all of you out-of-towners! The weather here can be funny. During the day, the weather in Greeneville should be beautiful, averaging low to mid 70s, but may get chilly at night. Best advised to bring a warm layer for the evening. We are hoping that October 7th will be the perfect date, where all you'll need is a light jacket! ;)
Where should I park?
There is plenty of free parking around the church and downtown. If you are a guest at the hotel, you will have parking in the garage all weekend and you can easily walk to the church.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the church and hotel are both wheelchair accessible. We will be sure you have assistance getting around the property!
What should I wear?
Please see our Schedule for the dress code.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is indoors, but our reception will be in a tent/outdoors. If the weather is inclement, then we will boogie inside :)
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Something comfortable or that you can easily remove!
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them on our app Joy.

Story
Corey and I met like most modern couples do...ONLINE! Our first date was on 12.21.19 in an adorable tea house in Atlanta called Doctor Bombay's Underwater Tea Party. I had just returned from living abroad and was working as a matchmaker and he was happily living in Atlanta selling wine. Life was good and full.
We had no idea what would ensue in the coming months!
Our connection was instant, yet COVID intensified our relationship. Needless to say, through job changes, uncertainty, moves, and health scares, our love prevailed.
Corey and I were engaged in Italy on August 22, 2022 on a sailboat by the Faraglioni in Capri. He did a great job at keeping it a surprise. My YES was emphatic amidst the cliffside splendor.
Tidbits
How did you first meet?
We actually connected online years prior to our first meeting. Our lives were very different then, yet fate brought us back together. Trust the timing of your life, as they say!
Who made the first move? How?
Corey messaged me via the app, but I quickly gave him my number to ask me out.
What was your most memorable date?
Our first date was pretty cool. We actually sat next to one of Corey's cousins ex-girlfriends and they couldn't place each other at first. Initially, I was like, "what the heck is going on here," because I could sense they both recognized the other. They figured it out and it was a warm surprise. She actually praised him and expressed how wonderful he is. Clearly, I agreed.
How did Corey propose?
We had just returned to the sailboat we had chartered for a trip around Capri, Italy. After swimming through the Green Grotto, we were exhausted by the current. He went to grab some water, and when he returned, he looked at me different and then fell to not one, but two knees. The latter could have been because of the waves, or because he loves me so much. And then, he said, "Will you?!" I was so shocked, yet so excited, after saying a series of 'omg' I exclaimed YES! Who knows, maybe Giorgio Armani heard me from his cliffside pool. It was beautiful!
What's your favorite activity together?
Doing yoga, going for a hike, cooking, enjoying a cup of coffee, and adventuring!
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
The Oaxacan coast of Mexico
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
Corey and I love food and love to cook. We've made and enjoyed so many wonderful meals at home and around the globe.
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
Our trip to Southern Italy last year was pretty epic. Riding on the back of a scooter along the Amalfi was a major highlight!
A life goal of ours
Live with more presence. Enjoy life. Be free.
The most spontaneous thing we’ve done
Getting married on 12/31/22! Waiting until October felt agonizing for us. Plus, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis late last year, so that sped things up for us on the practical side of things.

If you are traveling by air, we recommend renting a car to drive into Greeneville. You will have freedom to take in the sites more easily, too! Enterprise is one of many options.
