The first time we saw one another, we were in the same group fitness class at VFit gym on Prospect Road. Ross had just arrived home from an overseas work trip and stumbled across joining VFit while driving past. One evening, Annika and Ross were paired up for a workout. Upon mishearing, Annika actually thought Ross' name was 'Russ'. A few weeks later, the couple began going on coffee dates at Cotto next door after Saturday morning classes. Annika actually hated coffee but made the excuse to enjoy the company, while Ross enjoyed banana bread each time. The rest is history!

What's your favorite activity together?
Spending quality time together. Watching movies with lots of snacks!
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
We have been dreaming about Europe before a certain pandemic came along.
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
Mulled wine and wood oven pizzas during snowfall in Wanaka, NZ. Plant based degustation hosted by The Lane Vineyard is also worth mentioning.
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
Ross organised a 3 week trip to Thailand as a surprise for Annika! Skiing and soaking in the hot springs in New Zealand was another magical experience.

Adelaide is a vibrant city known for its food, wine, festivals, art and so much more!
Hotels are aplenty, so feel free to book wherever, with a wide variety of stylers, sizes and budgets catered for.
Please keep in mind, the shuttle to and from the wedding will likely leave from a centralised location such as the Hilton Hotel, so if you are travelling on the shuttle factor this into your accommodation selection.

Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, we have planned an adult-only wedding (family members included in the wedding party as the exception). We recognise some of you will be traveling interstate, so please communicate with us if you require assistance with organising a baby sitter. Thank you for your understanding.
What will the weather be like?
Hopefully the perfect climate! However, March can bring unpredicted 40 degree days or rain! As Longview Vineyard is located in the Adelaide Hills, it is best to plan for mild winds and may get chilly at night. Thankfully, the venue are exceptional at adapting to all types of weather! The Reception will take place in the Heritage Barn with wood fires if required.
Where should I park?
There is plenty of free parking near the entrance of Longview Vineyard. We have booked buses for guests not staying at the on site accommodation. Buses will be provided to and from Adelaide City to ensure our guests can enjoy themselves safely!
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes, please inform us if you require assistance on the day.
How can guests help us to ensure we have a Covid safe wedding?
Longview Vineyards Pty Ltd will be identified as a Fully Vaccinated venue, meaning that all wedding guests, suppliers and staff, are required to be fully vaccinated from 28 December 2021. Proof of vaccination will be required upon arrival at Longview (electronic or paper). Please ensure you are aware of this requirement before to ensure you are not needed to be turned away by staff on the day.
For the safety of our family and friends, we kindly ask if you are experiencing any symptoms on the day, please stay home to recover. We would also greatly appreciate if you could take a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) the day before the wedding. The best celebration is a safe one!
Will your wedding be postponed if restrictions are in place?
We kindly ask you remain flexible with your travel arrangements as we need to react to any restrictions due to Covid-19. We are tracking the situation closely and will keep you informed if any plans change.

What should I wear?
Semi formal.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony will take place outside to enjoy the stunning 'long' views. The Reception will take place in the Heritage Barn.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Please consider footwear as our ceremony will be on grass.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them with us!
However, please refrain from taking photos that may interfere with the work of our photographer/videographer during the ceremony. We ask for phones to be put down for our vows and that no photos of us are shared on social media before we have a chance to do so.
Is there a registry?
Your presence on the day is the true gift! If you would like to contribute towards our honeymoon, our reception will have a 'card box/wishing well'.
