Story
Like many recent couples, Hailey & Artie met on a dating app. He had a Ravens photo on his profile, and one of the first questions Hailey asked was "I'm a Patriots fan.... will that be an issue?" Thankfully, Artie looked past what some would call a character flaw and gave her a chance. From the first date on a Wednesday in Fells Point, conversation flowed so easily and everything just clicked. Artie walked her home and when Hailey asked if she'd see him again, his response was "Absolutely."
Artie & Hailey have grown a lot since that first date. They have become Baltimore City locals, finished school, and started careers. They've travelled to 8 states together, plus one country! They've each shared parts of themselves with the other and challenged each other to try new things, growing through each experience. As they start married life, they are excited for all the adventures to come.
Tidbits
How did you first meet?
See Our Story!
Who's going to take out the trash?
Hailey takes it out, Artie brings it back. Perfect balance.
What was your most memorable date?
One of the early memorable dates was on the first New Year's Eve together. Artie & Hailey went to a Raven's game, and on the surface, it looked rough: the Ravens lost and it was 16 degrees -- so cold that the beer was actually freezing. But Hailey and Artie had such a great time being together that neither of those things mattered.
What's your favorite activity together?
We love to go duckpin bowling or listen to records while playing games!
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
We're planning to go to Jamaica in December 2022 - we can't wait!
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
Probably the vegan fettucine alfredo that Hailey made.
(Just kidding, that was horrible and Artie is a saint for not spitting it out)
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
We’ve been on a lot of great trips, from Maine to Nashville, California, and Spain.
We’re on the same page about
How important our families and friends are in our life. We are always grateful to have so many great people around us.
The most spontaneous thing we’ve done
Drove to New Jersey & back in one night to get a yard game.
The dorkiest thing about us is
Our extensive collection of reusable grocery bags.
We are regulars at
The Friendly's near our house. You can never have too much ice cream.
We take pride in
Tackling home improvement projects on our own.

Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception.
What will the weather be like?
September in York, ME is typically about 70-75 degrees. Nights can get chilly, and because we hope to get married outside, there may be an ocean breeze as well.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be indoors. The venue has indoor and outdoor spaces you can explore throughout the night.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Yes! We would love for you to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception to capture all the fun moments! However, we ask that you please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony - we want you to be 100% present with us during those special moments, and we will have a professional photographer to capture the ceremony.
