Story
We have been hanging out together now for about 9 years, its been bloody great too. Now its time to get all our friends and family together to bond and be merry. Its our turn to spend a heap of cash on a heap of grog, so lets do this thing.
As you all know we are already legally married. We had a beautiful small wedding In January 2019 so now we'd like to invite you to party with us to mark the occasion.
We chose a venue where everyone can stay, we don't have to worry about waking the neighbours if we stay up all night, no need to drive anywhere and, well, its a beautiful location.
We will be at the venue on the Friday afternoon getting it all together, if you'd like to make a weekend of it feel free to.

Who's the emcee?
We have asked out beautiful bubbly friend Brinta Chisholm to keep our day on track and share hilarious tidbits about us with you. IF you have any questions and don't want to bother the Bride and Groom she'll most likely be able to direct you.
Who's in the Bridal Party?
We have asked Jordan Bell (Ash's good mate) and Janelle Hickey (Amy's gal pal) to support us on the day. They were also our witnesses for the formal wedding.

We're getting married...again....kind of...we are having a little ceremony so you'll get to hear our original vows and a ring exchange.

It's party time! We encourage everyone to grab some drinks and get out on the balcony and mingle with our favourite people before dinner inside. We will have canapés, dinner and some late night snacks for the stayers so don't worry about bringing a muesli bar in your pocket. We will have drinks on until about 1am and get moved on from the venue at 2am. We all know "nothing good ever happens after 2am" sooo lucky for us theres no pubs open nearby.

Getting In
Eildon is about a 2hour 45min drive from Melbourne. Wherever you're travelling from I highly recommend Google maps to Alexandra first, then pop in the venue details from there, just so you don't end up on a gravel back road somewhere.

The accommodation is at the same place as the wedding. Plenty of room for everyone, let us know if you have any questions. Don't have too worry about booking this early as theres heaps of space. I'll send a reminder of when you should be locking it.
In addition if you prefer to find some accommodation elsewhere theres motels and pubs in nearby towns. You'll be able to find these easily on google.

What time should I arrive?
Anytime from friday to 1hour before the event start time. Allow some time for getting lost, it isn't the easiest place to find, we're sure you'll be fine though.
Where should I park?
Plenty of parking at the venue either outside your room or down a little further. Theres heaps of space.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes, with some help.
What should I wear?
Collared shirts required please, no jeans, no t-shirts, no thongs.
Ladies its cocktail/evening/party dress for you
It will be in October so possibly pretty warm, the venue will be air conditioned or heated depending.
You can go pop your thongs on later in the night if you wish, just not for the main do.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
There won't be much grass to contend with, the area around the venue is gravel but has some concrete paths, inside is carpet then a D-floor also.
Whom should I call with questions?
Amy or Ash for questions. Email or messenger is easiest. Jordy Bell and Nell Hickey are also in the know about most things.
When is the RSVP deadline?
25th September 2022
Can I bring a date?
Of course you can, but please give us a heads up their name and any dietary requirements, this won't be a vegan wedding but there are options available.
Are kids welcome?
In short, no.
As much as we love your kids we'd rather you packed up them up and you have a night off. If we had all our friends and families kids and babies there would be in excess of 50 kids. Ahh no thank you. Lets party. If you have queries about your baby let us know but I think we have spoken to everyone.
Is there a gifts registry?
No gift registry. We love you all, and would love to have some fun with you (best gift of all is your time).
There will be a little box at the venue for cards.
If you do wish to give us a gift keep in mind our living situation (in Dubai), and moving home.
Another option is a donation to charity in our names. for example Heartfelt (providing free professional photography service for those experiencing loss of a baby or child)
Please don't feel obliged.

You can book Saturday night only or come along for the Friday and Sunday nights as well (whole weekend is an option, being cup weekend).
Plenty of accom for all...the venue sleeps up to 160 and we haven't invited that many so you won’t miss out.
If your coming alone and would like to bunk in with a few people let us know and we can link you all together, there’s some great 4 person rooms.
In addition if you want to book elsewhere there are motels and pubs around, likely air bnb also. Feel free to check out google.
Is there somewhere to get my hair and makeup done before the wedding?
There are multiple places in Alexandra and there is 1 place in Eildon for hair and makeup. If you let me know that this is something you might like I can arrange for a couple of girls to come up to the homestead and do you all up while I'm also getting ready. Alternatively I can help you find the places to book.
Will you have babysitters on the premises?
No, sorry. We welcome small babies that are still breastfeeding....we're not animals. But toddlers or babes that are eating solids are a bit too much of a hand full specially at his location with dams, snakes and balconies. We'd rather you had the night off and are able to switch off.
Will food be served?
We'll have canapés on the deck, sit down dinner and cake for everyone. Also late night snacks will be provided.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
We'll let the menu team know about your requirements and they will try their best to accommodate your needs.
Will I have to pay for parking?
No, you'll be all to park right outside your accommodation which is a very short work to the ceremony and the reception.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting outdoors ceremony (on grass, under a tree). We have a wet weather option. The reception will be inside.
Will there be dancing?
Hell yes
Will there be any activities happening that I need to know about?
There is the possibility of an activity Saturday morning, TBC. Express your interest if your keen.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes, just please keep them away for the 'ceremony'. We are paying a suitcase full of money for a photographer and videographer. Please enjoy the moment.
Will I get a chance to take professional photos with the couple?
Yes, we have a photographer coming, her name is Nikki. She'll be happy to grab some snaps of us, grab us when ever she's free.
What should/could I do between the ceremony and the reception?
On the way from the ceremony to the bar feel free to stop in at your room...loo stop, makeup, change shoes....drinks will be waiting for you.
What if I want to donate my services to a cause instead of give a gift?
Thats totally fine and very generous. We welcome all trades to our new little farm.
What time will the reception end?
They'll kick us all out at 2am. Ash and Amy will head out at about 1am.
