Story
Austin and I had been working together for about a year and had just started becoming friends when the pandemic hit. When it felt like everything was falling apart or standing still, our relationship grew. We went from slacking doomsday news back and forth from our offices to talking on the phone every night after logging off from remote work.

What's your favorite activity together?
We love to travel, visit independent bookstores, and spend time with the dogs and chickens.
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
We hope to see the total solar eclipse on Prince Edward Island and then travel a few weeks in France and England.
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
Last October we spent two weeks in New England. Austin proposed at Walden Pond!

Absolutely.
What will the weather be like?
Mid-October in Southwest Washington. We're saying it will either be cool and raining or 80 degrees. We'll see!
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting, our wedding ceremony will be outdoors and dinner and dancing will be inside. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we will be able to move the ceremony indoors.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
There is grass, gravel, and cement at the venue. Wear what you'll be comfortable in.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them on our app Joy.
If you take photos during the ceremony, please take them only from your seat.
