After hiking up a vertical, rocky trail to a swamp and over grown field, Tom told Katie to turn around. She thought there was a bear behind her and found Tom on his knee. The ring was promptly dropped in the mud after presentation.

When is the RSVP deadline?
Friday, August 26th by SUNDOWN.
Can I bring a date?
If there was a +1 on your invite/save the date, then yes! If not, please ask.
Are kids welcome?
Yes!
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony starts at 4:30 sharp so try to get there around 4pm.
Where should I park?
There is parking at Roger's Point, but car pooling is encouraged, the road to the place gets a little narrow.
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably, ritual and reception will be outside.

Food and drinks will be served
What if I have a dietary restriction?
There will be vegetarian as well as select vegan items.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Both! The ritual will take place outside and there will be an indoor as well as outdoor seating for dining and partying.
Will there be dancing?
You bet!
How do I get there?
The address is 190 River Rd. Hyde Park NY, 12538.
Google Maps is quite reliable.
From NYC by Train:
-Take the Metro North from Grand Central Station to Poughkeepsie. Roger's Point is about a 10-15 minute cab ride from the station.
It takes about 2.5 hours to get there from Eastern Nassau county on Long Island so leave with plenty of time to get there!
I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?
Unfortunately we were unable to block out any hotel rooms in the area. There are a few places in and around Poughkeepsie that have vacancies. If you need help, we can help point you in the right direction. There is also a camp ground with a few cabins up the road if that's something you're into. Check out too.
