He asked me in his flat on an evening in August. The rain was pouring outside (thwarting his initial plan to take me to a little park close to my house where we had spent a lot of time while we were still getting to know each other). We were sorting out the contracts for our first home together when he asked me out of the blue. I did not realize he was serious at first!

Lots and lots of checklists, amazingly helpful bridesmaids and groomsmen, and little weekly tasks to chip away at the beast. 🙂

Delegate time to develop the website together. See it as a fun little project to bond over, rather than another chore on the wedding planning list!

Joy is happiness not based on circumstance. (1 Peter 1:8-9) Joy lasts forever because it goes deeper than an event. It’s the hopeful, bubbly promise of eternity with your spouse. That’s illustrated in the wedding ceremony where man and woman promise “Till death do us part”.
