Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?

We got engaged inside the Magic Kingdom in Disneyworld, right in front of Cinderella’s Castle!

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?

Getting our engagement photos taken! We went to a beautiful campus library and our photographers were excellent. I’ve also enjoyed putting together the website. It feels like it really is bringing all of the planning into its final stage!

How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?

Staying organized! I use Google Drive to keep track of every bit of paperwork and every list.

What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?

It’s so customizable! The layouts and the suggestions give the right push to make sure we cover all of the bases.

What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?

Get some really great photos taken of the two of you to bring the website to life! Also, get a wedding party member or parent to look at it before publishing to make sure you didn’t miss anything!

At Joy we believe that even though a wedding lasts a day, joy lasts forever. What does that mean to you?

I’m having a wedding to have a marriage. The wedding is about the celebration of bringing together family and friends to share our story, to celebrate the love we found with our partner.
