Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
It was our one year anniversary and we were walking the streets of downtown São Paulo. There was a group set up that appeared to be recording a music video. They asked if we could dance in the center of the circle while the singer sang Perfect by Ed Sheeran. Afterward, Pedro took the mic and said, “I loved you yesterday. I love you today. And I want to love you for the rest of our lives. Will you marry me?” He got down on one knee and I, of course, said yes! I had not met most of his family and friends yet, and they were all part of the circle watching! Everyone came running in for hugs. He knew everyone and the singer, videographer, and photographers.

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Deciding on decorations!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
I am reminded by my fiancé that regardless, we will be married in the end and have each other. That is what brings us joy.
