Your wedding day is approaching fast and you\u2019re wondering how it\u2019s all going to come together. The first thing you should do is stop and take a breath. You\u2019ve got this! You\u2019ve planned it all out and now all you have to do is make the final preparations and hand the reins over to your planner, day-of coordinator, or awesome loved ones. Coordinating all the details and handing them over is the last crucial step in planning your wedding. You don\u2019t want to have taken all of that time to plan everything just to run into problems because of miscommunications. And speaking of communication, don\u2019t forget to communicate with your guests in the lead up to the wedding either! It may seem nerve-wracking now, but here are our wedding day tips to help you get through the home stretch with as little stress as possible!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Plan ahead of time so you can enjoy the moment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Doing the proper planning beforehand will allow you to relax and enjoy the moment on your wedding day. You\u2019ve already done the big parts of the planning, of course. Now you just need to get everything organized. This means really working out the logistics of the wedding day and creating documents such as your timeline, seating chart, and floor plan. After that, it\u2019s just a matter of remembering being comfortable with delegating the responsibilities of running the show on the day of the wedding. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Have everything in one place for whoever is managing the wedding<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Of course, you can\u2019t enjoy the moment if you\u2019re actually the one handling all of the logistics. The responsibility of running the wedding should go to your <\/span>planner<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>DOC<\/span><\/a> or loved one willing to do the work. Whoever it is, make sure your plan is clearly laid out and you have all the documents together in one place, such as a folder\u2014documents including, but not limited to, a vendor list (including contact info), floor plan, timeline, marriage license, seating chart, and song list. You can remind your guests about dress code, transportation, unplugged events, whatever is important but could be forgotten. But if you are enlisting the help of family of friends, you will want to know exactly who is doing what. You may assign different tasks to different people, but make sure there is someone coordinating everything. 5. Make a list of things to pack\u2014and bring back<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Whoever is managing setting everything up and taking everything down should have a checklist of all the things that need to be transported to the venue and set up. You\u2019ll also want to provide a checklist of things that need to transported <\/span>from <\/span><\/i>the venue. This way you can be sure nothing valuable is left behind. These lists should also be among the documents your DOC has in their wedding folder<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technology will inevitably play <\/span>some <\/span><\/i>role in your wedding. You can plan ahead to determine what kind of role it will play. You\u2019ll want to decide what your policy is on posting things publicly and whether you will have a <\/span>wedding hashtag<\/span><\/a>. But you should also think about how you and your guests can use technology in other ways to enhance the experience. You can provide charging stations for your guests\u2019 mobile devices or QR codes to link to vendor info. And of course your wedding app can be a great tool for capturing and sharing moments and bringing everyone together. 9. Cherish the moments<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ve done all the planning for all of the different parts of your wedding so that you and your guests can enjoy the day. Now it\u2019s time to be in the moment and experience things directly.
