I think that my favorite would be photographing in rural Australia a few hours outside of Sydney. The bride chose to have her wedding at her family ranch and we did a little engagement session a few days before, exploring the 2000+ acres of land that really captured her spirit and childhood. Going up into the mountains, or finding a cool meadow or dried up lake, it\u2019s all about doing the things you love in a space that cultivates an experience. Rather than project my own personality and preferences, I always encourage you to pick a spot that you would go to if you had a Saturday alone together. That\u2019s how my approach is unique. When you feel at ease and comfortable that\u2019s when you allow yourself to be your real self. That\u2019s when you get photos back that look as amazing as they feel. My favorite wedding trend is that Brides and Grooms are starting to find their own version of what a wedding should look like. From putting up bbq style backyard games during the cocktail hour to having drinks served before guests are seated for the ceremony, Brides today are making their own events unique and special for them. They\u2019re customizing their experience and steering clear of the ‘expected,’ venturing into what makes you happy, has created some of the MOST fun weddings I\u2019ve ever been to. Also, taco bars.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
