First off, congrats! What is your most memorable moment from the wedding?<\/h2>\n
This is so hard to answer because we had so many great moments! This would probably be when Jacob surprised Brittney by calling her over to the dance floor to serenade her to a song he, and the guys of the band, memorized just for that moment! The song he sang was “Oh! Darling” by The Beatles. It was such a dreamy moment!<\/div>\n

What were the colors of your wedding?<\/h2>\n
Jewel tones with mixed metals.<\/div>\n

What do you think worked really well at your wedding that you would recommend every couple to do?<\/h2>\n
First, you can only plan for so many things to happen because the reality is, not everything is in your control. Hiring a day-of coordinator is a really good idea just to ease any worry! Also, don’t forget<\/em> to eat and drink water! We had snacks throughout the day and special moments set aside from our schedule of the wedding day just to relax for a minute. You want to be able to enjoy every moment because even though it’s such a long day, it goes by in a flash<\/em>! We like to say the only thing we wish we had more of was time on our wedding day!<\/div>\n

Would you have done anything differently\u2014splurge on a pricier dress, nix the favors, go for that extra passed appetizer?<\/h2>\n
We had a bit of a snafu with our catering (they made a mistake on portions and served the vegan food to non-vegans), but everything all worked out in the end. It’s important to make sure there’s more than enough food for everyone attending, whether it’s a bunch of snacks before dinner or grabbing extra appetizers! We also had a taco truck come towards the end of the evening which totally saved the day!<\/div>\n

What tips do you have for other Joy couples still in the midst of wedding planning?<\/h2>\n
Relax! The entire day goes by so fast, just try to enjoy every moment of it! Make sure you both are doing everything for the two of you, because everyone will have an opinion, but it’s your day!<\/div>\n

What were your favorite features of Joy?<\/h2>\n
Everything<\/em>! It was so easy to use!<\/div>\n

At Joy we believe that although a wedding lasts one day, joy lasts forever. What does that mean to you and your partner?<\/h2>\n
All the memories made, especially out of love and happiness, stay with you forever! People can truly feel that too!<\/div>\n
