Kara McCoy, Lead Designer and Founder of Kara Anne & Co<\/a>, recommends making a memory out of the experience. \u201cTake a trip to a flower farm with your crew to create your table arrangements, or ask your family to bake cookies to bring for the dessert table.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2019, some extreme hacks went viral, but McCoy urges the ambitious DIYer to select projects wisely. \u201cFor couples interested in DIY, don’t try to do it all!\u201d McCoy advises. \u201cSaving money is great, but you also want to enjoy your wedding and all that leads up to it.
