Story
It all started on a random night out in Nashville with my girlfriends. I noticed this guy across the bar: tall, cracking jokes with his friends, totally in his element. We barely spoke, just a quick laugh and a glance, but apparently that was enough. I thought he was funny and cute; he later told me he couldn’t take his eyes off me and thought I was the most beautiful woman in the room.
A whole year later, I got a Facebook message from Zach: “Are you still in Nashville… let me take you on a proper date.” Bold, but it worked. I flew across the country for a weekend in the D.C./Baltimore area, and from the second we met up again, everything just clicked. We walked around D.C. late in the evening holding hands, saw the White House all lit up at night, shared our first kiss under the streetlights, went to a Ravens game the next day, and laughed our heads off at a Kat Williams show that night. It was one of those perfect weekends you never want to end.
Not long after, he flew out to California to visit me. We spent a whole week together, and by the end of it, we were official. Less than a month later, he was meeting my family (and totally winning them over). And just two months later, we found out we were expecting our little girl.
Yes, we moved fast, but when it feels this right, why slow down? Zach, Georgia, and this wild, beautiful love story… I wouldn’t change a single second of how we got here. Now we can’t wait to say “I do” and keep writing the rest of our story together. 💛

How did you first meet?

Who made the first move? How?
Zach did—bold and perfectly timed. A full year after we’d crossed paths, he slid into my Facebook DMs.
Three weeks later, I was on a plane. Our first weekend date was 72 hours of nonstop laughter at Katt Williams’ show and late-night walks around DC staring up at the lit White House. He didn’t just make the first move—he launched us into orbit.
Who's going to take out the trash?
Zach, obviously. That’s been his job since day one, and he’s not getting out of it just because we’re married. :)
What was your most memorable date?
Zach taught me to ski from scratch. In one morning I went from pizza-wedging to flying through the trees with him, laughing the whole way down. That night we cozied up by the fire, already planning our next trip.
The morning we were set to leave, I took a pregnancy test in the cabin bathroom. Two pink lines. I walked out, showed Zach, and we instantly started crying and hugging in our pajamas while the snow fell outside. Best weekend ever—our little girl made herself known on the perfect day.
What's your favorite activity together?
Anything outdoors! We love to fish, shoot and ski. <3
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
We plan to explore all the amazing spots around Italy!
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
Probably would have to be one of our home-cooked meals together as a family. We love Costco's ribeyes & sweet potatoes.
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
Our most memorable trip together has been our Florida swing which included a front row concert, a couple of days fishing in the keys and some memorable time on the boat in those crystal clear waters.
