BROOKE'S STORY
On my third day of work at Nolan Transportation Group I was invited to go to lunch to get to know my new coworkers. So over fried rice and hibachi chicken I met Dawson Kilcrease for the first time. Little did I know that I was meeting my future husband. Dawson asked for my number and the first text he ever sent me was "What are your thoughts on going to Bali in a few months?" I am pretty sure I laughed out loud and thought he was crazy, but hey here I am. And no, we have not gone to Bali yet - lol. Dawson was kind and patient and so genuine from the moment I met him, and over four years later none of that has changed.

How did you first meet?

We met at work! Nolan Transportation Group back in the fall of 2017.

Who made the first move? How?

Dawson made the first move when he texted me "Thoughts on going to Bali in a few months?" Spoiler alert - we still haven't been to Bali.

Who's going to take out the trash?

Teamwork makes the dreamwork!

What was your most memorable date?

The 2017 SEC Championship - our second date! Dawson worked so hard to find tickets for the game, and we actually never ended up sitting in our seats because we got to sneak into box seats instead!

What's your favorite activity together?

We love to take yoga classes at our favorite studio - Yonder Yoga!

Where are you going for your honeymoon?

Still haven't decided yet... any suggestions?

What's the best meal you have eaten together?

Little Alley Steak House in Roswell, GA. We celebrated our first anniversary.

What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?

St. Thomas - our absolute favorite place on Earth. Things move slower, you are always met with a smile, and the snorkeling is unforgettable.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by August 20th, so we can have an accurate headcount.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. Please reach out if you have questions!

What will the weather be like?

Praying for no rain! The weather should be incredible - the high will be in the 80's and the low will be in the 60's. Perfect weather to dance the night away under the stars!

Where should I park?

There will be a parking attendant onsite location for both the welcome party at Ridge Rose and the wedding ceremony and reception at The Homestead that will assist in directing you on where to park.

What should I wear?

We want you to look you best and feel your best! We recommend cocktail attire for the Friday night welcome party and Formal attire for the ceremony and reception on Saturday.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Both the welcome party and wedding day will be outside - the weather should be incredible but in the event of rain we will have a tent for cover.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. There are a bunch of grassy/dirt areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals. Can't have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them through a shared album that we will create.
However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
