Carla and I were set up by Jing's Mother-in-Law to be. I was a bit hesitant at first. Blind dates are kind of scary. But I figured I'd give it a shot. We decided to meet at Blarney Stone for a drink. She pulled into the parking lot shortly after me. When she got out of the car, and the rays from the street lamp shined down on her, let me tell you people, I knew I was in love! Carla did not feel the same way.....she saw a balding, big-eared, little too chubby sort of fellow walking toward her and thought, please don't be him, please don't be him. Fortunately for me, my undeniable charm and a couple of drinks persuaded her to stay and get to know me before texting Jing for a quick escape route! I knew things were going well when she began evaluating my veins, telling me I would be an easy stick. She touched my arm!

Fast forward two years and we have fallen deeply in love and become best friends. We do everything together yet still allow each other the space to maintain the many important friendships that we have built over the years. Many of those friendships have become mutual over the last two years and we cannot wait to celebrate with everyone together on November 19th. We love you all and will see you soon!
