About Us
How did you first meet?
We met in April 2021 at a DC rooftop event with mutual friends.
Who made the first move? How?
Catherine definitely made the first move by commenting on Dominic's outfit (his polo and cardigan were not 2000s-themed party appropriate)
What was your first date like?
It was Cinco de Mayo and we planned to share a meal at Purple Patch (a Filipino restaurant in DC), but it was closed (maybe Cinco de Mayo isn't their busiest night...). We spent the rest of the evening getting to know each other while searching for a Mexican restaurant with last minute availability.
How did you get engaged?
Dominic proposed in August 19, 2022 during our vacation to West Palm Beach. While at beautiful water-side dinner at the Frigate, he caught Catherine by surprise asked her to marry him (to the delight of all the other diners at the restaurant!)
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
TBD!

What experience taught you the most about each other?
In April 2022, we had known each other for a year and felt like our relationship was growing more and more each day. Our bond was really tested when Catherine tore a tendon in her knee and would need a surgery with an intensive healing process. We learned to trust one another and that we could make each other laugh even in the most difficult of times.
Catherine really appreciated Dominic being willing to care for her 24/7 while she recovered and Dominic saw Catherine's perseverance and kindness through it all.

We recommend flying into Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), as it is closest to the event venue and Annapolis hotel blocks
Ronald Regan Washington National Airport (DCA) is located in right across the river from downtown DC and is a great option, though further away from Annapolis
The BWI Amtrak stop and New Carrollton Amtrak stops are conveniently located to the venue and Annapolis hotel blocks

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?
We have reserved blocks of rooms at a number of local Annapolis and DC hotels. Additional details and links to book a room in the hotel block will be added shortly.
Can I bring a date?
With a limited guest count, please check your invite for all named invited individuals!
What will the weather be like?
DC winters are chilly, ranging from mid 30s to high 40s on a typical day.
Where should I park?
There is plenty of free parking on-site at the event venue. Parking at hotels will vary by location.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes!
What should I wear?

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Both the wedding ceremony and the reception are indoors
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception and share them on our wedding website. However, during the ceremony, please refrain from taking photos.
Will food be served?
Yes! We will have brunch immediately following the wedding ceremony
What if I have a dietary restriction?
With your RSVP, we will have guests make note of any dietary restrictions. We are currently planning to accommodate gluten, peanut, and tree nut allergies and will also have vegetarian/vegan options.
