Q & A
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
What should I wear?
For the welcome BBQ on Friday, dress however you'd like! It's a pig roast so come casual! Shorts and a nice T-shirt/polo and sundress or something casual for the ladies.
For the wedding itself, the dress code is summer chic!
For the gents, think a suit no tie or similar. Please no jeans or shorts....or even worse, jean shorts.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. We repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. There are a bunch of grassy/dirt areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals. We don't want any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles!
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, the wedding weekend is an adults-only event. Thanks for understanding.
Can I bring a date?
Unless we specifically listed a plus one on your invitation, no additional guests are allowed. Unfortunately, the camp maxes out at a certain number.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be in a tent.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take tons of photos and videos throughout the weekend, however we do ask that you refrain from taking photos and video during the ceremony.
Is there transportation being provided between reception and hotels?
Yes! We are planning to provide a shuttle to/from nearby hotels. Please see the "schedule" page for more info on pick up times.
Where should I park?
Parking is limited so we do ask that you carpool as much as possible if you'll not be riding the hotel shuttle. There will be a shuttle service scheduled to and from camp on the day of the wedding. Details on the schedule page of this website!
What if I have a dietary restriction?
Good luck! Just kidding! Please message either Chris or Blake separately, and we will tell the caterer to cook something delicious that also keeps you out of the hospital.
Whom should I call with questions?
Leading up to the weekend, please feel free to reach out to Chris with any questions (724-355-2387). For any questions during the wedding weekend, please reach out to our wedding planner Danielle Horvatin at 262-496-9832.
Registry
As most of you probably already know, we are beyond excited to expand our family after the wedding! In lieu of a traditional wedding registry we've decided to register for a "baby fund" to help us achieve that goal. We're so excited for the journey ahead, and we can't thank you enough for helping us along the way!
