Story
"You two were made for each other." When we first started dating, we heard this from many of our friends and family, and we agree. From our senses of humor to our love for making the most of every day together, the two of us feel like we have unlocked a secret that few people get to experience...the love of a lifetime!
Tidbits
How did you first meet?
We met each other working at Kennesaw State University. At first we were acquaintances and colleagues, then we became friends. One day we turned around and realized that the love of a lifetime was right in front of us!
How did Chris propose?
Chris proposed during a romantic weekend stay at our favorite cottage in the North Georgia mountains. Soon after we arrived, Chris proposed at a special spot on top of a hill. He also had another surprise...a book of poetry he wrote titled "And Then She Said Yes." ()
What's your favorite activity together?
Snuggling and cuddling, watching our favorite TV shows, going to concerts and Atlanta Braves games, visiting our favorite little cottage in the North Georgia mountains! ()
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
We're going to Hawaii! Mahalo!
What was your most memorable date?
In August 2021, we visited the John Adams National Historical Park in Quincy, Massachusetts. We stood in the house where John and Abigail raised their young family and where Abigail penned letters to her "dearest friend," - her husband John. We even snuck a kiss when the tour guide wasn't looking!
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
Probably our epic dinner at the historic Old Ebbitt Grill restaurant in Washington, D.C., followed by cocktails at "Off the Record," a speakeasy in the iconic Hay-Adams Hotel.
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
We went to Baltimore in December 2019 to see the Ravens play and celebrated the New Year with family in Pennsylvania. We also took a Caribbean cruise in 2019!
We’re on the same page about
Cheering for the Atlanta Braves, listening to 80s music, religiously watching Saturday Night Live, and the absolute epic perfection of the album "Jesus Freak" by dc Talk.
A life goal of ours
Retire from our jobs and travel to lots of places around the world, particularly Ireland, Oktoberfest in Germany, college football games, and a trip to Canada where we can sit in a hot tub in the snow.
The dorkiest thing about us is
We wear matching pajamas. We honestly get pretty excited about that.
We are regulars at
Schoolhouse Brewing. Hands down the best brewery in Atlanta!
A social cause we care about
LGBT people, especially at-risk youth and Atlanta's Lost-n-Found Youth:
We take pride in
Our amazing children, Grace, CJ, Reagan and Ben! They make us proud every day!

Registry
We are honored by the love of our family, friends, and by those who will share in our special day. We are blessed to already have a home full of everything we need, and we want everyone to know that no gifts are needed...aside from the gift of your magical dance moves at our wedding reception!
If you really want to touch our hearts, please consider commemorating this day by making a donation in lieu of a gift to support:
- Our church, Saint Mark UMC (), or
- "Lost-n-Found Youth," an Atlanta-based nonprofit that exists to end homelessness for LGBT+ youth (Venmo: @LostnFoundYouth / Cash App: $LostnFoundYouth / PayPal: Paypal.me/lostnfoundyouth)
If you insist on sending us a token of your excitement for our big day, please browse our Honeyfund wish list below where you can send us little extras for our honeymoon.
Thank you for thinking of us!
