Our story began in November of 2001, sitting alone in a movie theater waiting for the show to begin. Friends whom had introduced us had suggested we get a group together to go see the first Harry Potter movie. Alone we sat waiting to see if everyone would make it on time. One by one the text messages came in saying that “something came up”, or “sorry, can’t make it.”. We were beginning to think this was intentional. Little did we know that this was the start of a beautiful friendship…. and what turned out to be one of the funnest nights!

Friendship was always a strong base for us, as we knew we were brought together for a reason so long ago. Through the years, we’ve shared countless viewings of Shrek, backyard barbecues, in depth conversations taking us into the early morning hours, and so mush more. The turning point in our relationship was when I, Mike, had broken my phone and was frantic to get a hold of Claudia any way I could so she didn’t think I was flaking on our plans. At the same moment Claudia was wondering, how I could just not call her and say things had changed. She also, was determined to reach me. Happily, we did, eventually, reach one another.

It has been proposed that this was the moment that we both realized we loved each other.

It is with great joy that we will join hands as husband and wife in a Luau to be celebrated by our loved ones.
