Our story represents the true definition of "marrying your best friend". We were both assigned the same dorm, Hemingway Hall, for our Freshman year at Vanderbilt University. One night during the first semester, we ended seeing a movie together with a large group of friends. We didn't see each other again until second semester when we discovered we'd signed up for the same Sociology class!

We quickly became study partners - and friends. Over the next 2.5 years, we (intentionally this time!) took at least one class together every semester, and over time, we continued to grow closer through countless games of hangman to stay awake in logic class (don't worry, we still got A's), 2:00am philosophy debates, nights out with friends, and study breaks involving large quantities of Easter jelly beans.

Summer after Sophomore year, during months apart during break, we kept in touch over phone - it felt really important to stay in each other's lives after all of that time spent together the prior year. When Junior year started, it was clear something had shifted - almost without us realizing it, our relationship and feelings had deepened.

We started dating that September and have (obviously) been together ever since! After college we spent two years in Austin improving our BBQ game and learning how to be adults, before deciding to take the adventurous route to New York City after Josh finished grad school and Corrinne got a promotion.

This past March, we took an incredible trip to South Africa, and the day we got back to New York, Josh proposed!
