Story
On a clear, yet cold December night, Crystal was finishing up at a Toys for Tots event and John was resting at home. John's then-roommate Uyen Tran called to encourage him to come out for drinks and dancing and meet the soon to be Ms. Crystal Clemons.
After a few adult beverages and dancing, they went their separate ways. The next day, John asked Uyen for Crystal's number. Over the following few weeks texts were exchanged and finally there was a first date: dinner at Bangkok 54 (still our favorite Thai restaurant). Ever since the night we met, John knew they were meant to be together. While it took a little longer than expected for this day to come, great things happen for those who wait!

Who made the first move? How?
He made the first move when he texted me after that Toys for Tots night. After texting and chatting through the holidays, we had plans for dinner right after New Years.
Who's going to take out the trash?
Whoever happens to be closer to the trash :)
What was your most memorable date?
On one of our earlier dates I agreed to go ice skating at the Pentagon City Mall. John is an amazing athlete; however, he's not as skilled on slippery surfaces. He didn't wipeout too many times, but it was memorable and something I can give him a hard time about, if the need arises :)
What's your favorite activity together?
Order in food and play card games, board games, karaoke or just talk with friends.
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
Somewhere with beautiful beaches!
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
Mustard steak and twice baked potatoes, prepared by father of the bride, Chef Boy RZ!!
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
Dominican Republic for our joint birthday parties! Great food, great music and wonderful friends/family were present to celebrate.
