A singular moment set the course for Rico and Dani’s journey of a lifetime.
For Rico, his fate was sealed at first sight of Dani in a family photo shared from her uncle, Ricky, over dinner during submarine school. For two years, Rico pressed Dani’s uncle to introduce him to her. When the stars aligned after 8 months of video calls and emails, Dani flew from Guadalajara to meet in Seattle for their first in-person meeting.
They shared a 17-day road trip, camping and hiking along the Pacific coast from Seattle to San Diego. By trip’s end, Rico and Dani knew their journey had just begun.

Para Rico, su destino quedó sellado cuando vio a Dani en una foto familiar compartida por su tío, Ricky, durante una cena de la escuela de submarinos. Durante dos años, Rico presionó al tío de Dani para que lo presentara a ella. Cuando las estrellas se alinearon después de 8 meses de videollamadas y correos electrónicos, Dani voló de Guadalajara a Seattle para conocerse en persona por primera vez.
Compartieron un viaje por carretera de 17 días, acamparon y caminaron a lo largo de la costa del Pacífico desde Seattle hasta San Diego. Al final del viaje, Rico y Dani sabían que su viaje acababa de comenzar.
