Story
Robin and Ivy met at Greenpeace in August 2009 when Robin was on Ivy's job interview panel (Ivy got the job!). They got to know each other via happy hours, outings with friends on sailboats, and hiking with condors, but they didn't start dating until June 2012. Together they have been on many adventures together through Indonesia, Brazil, Norway and in meetings with corporate stakeholders on responsible palm oil. They have yet to be arrested together, although that can surely be arranged. Eleanor the wild beast cat is thrilled with her new family unit!
We are excited to have you join us in Guerneville & the Russian River because it is a very special place to us. Guerneville first became popular as a resort town in the 19th century, and then became a popular gay resort town in the 1970s. The ecosystem of the Coast Redwood is breathtaking; the trees are tall, ancient, and have more biomass than a tropical rainforest. When we come to Guerneville, we are rejuvenated in the work we do to halt deforestation globally, and feel playful and mischievous like so many gay visitors before us.

Registry
Your presence in Guerneville is the best gift we could ask for. For those of you who are fulfilled by choosing a gift from a registry, please have a blast exploring our lists at West Elm and Crate and Barrel (click below to look through them). Another option is to donate to one of the below organizations whose work we support (click the links below to go to their donation pages). TGI Justice Project is a group of transgender, gender variant and intersex people—inside and outside of prisons, jails and detention centers—creating a united family in the struggle for survival and freedom. BYP 100 is an organization of Black 18-35 year olds, dedicated to creating justice and freedom for all Black people.
