Story

As faith would have it we were both attending a very professional event at 02.00am in Dublins busy business district (The George on South George's Street). Mark was sitting at the bar when I approached him.

Our story began like most great romances throughout time and history "Can I buy you a drink?"..... Those simple words launched a thousand ships and our epic adventure began. It has taken us from Rathmines to Ashford Castle, Adare Manor, Sweden, Croatia, Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, Japan and so many more. The pandemic has not been easy on anyone but we have been there for each other and even managed to have fun between the tears. As we embark on our next chapter not only as soul mates but as a married couple we are both so excited to continue writing our story.

Tidbits

Who made the first move? How?

Darko: I guess I'm guilty of this. I will however go to my grave and say that he looked at me and winked me over. Unfortunately there is no evidence I can bring to prove this haha

What's your favorite activity together?

Definitely NOT kayaking 10.8km around the Croatian Islands. That's a mistake you make only once. Travelling around the world together and experiencing the local sights, culture, food and night life.

Where are you going for your honeymoon?

Flying to Miami for 4 days followed by an 8 night luxury cruise in the Caribbean and to top off our dream holiday we are heading to Universal Studios in Orlando Florida for two days.

What's the best meal you have eaten together?

We are quite avid foodies so we like to try everything wherever we go. 18 course tasting meal in Anair (Galway) is for sure top 3. Come to think of it we have had a lot of lovely meals in Galway. Blake's Brasserie do the best steak and Kirwan's Lane for seafood. Let us know when you are visiting Galway so we have an excuse to book :)

What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?

Travelling around Japan for the Rugby World Cup in 2019! Hands down!!!

We are regulars at

If you don't know the answer to this we will reconsider your invite :D Dame tavern in Dublin with our best bar man Pat and Bar an Chalad, Taffes and McGinns in Galway.

The best Sundays are

When we get to sleep in, cuddle with Coco, get some breakfast at the local coffee shop, enjoy a long walk with Coco and if there is a match on enjoy that at the local with a pint. HEAVEN!
