Complimentary Coach
Sep 2
12:15 PM - 12:30 PM
Tetleys coaches have just been in touch to say the pick up point has changed slightly - it's 40 yards further down Montpellier Hill on St Mary's Walk. There's a long bay marked "Buses" and a green bus shelter (NOT ice cream hut).

Accommodation
Kettlesing is a small village around 6 miles west of Harrogate with limited rooms, so we recommend booking a stay in Harrogate itself or Knaresborough area where there is plenty of good accommodation - whatever your budget. There will be a Tetley's Coach with 70 persons max running one return journey to Kettlesing, from Harrogate town centre. See Complimentary Coach section above.
For the more adventurous among you, there is a small caravan and camping site in the village of Staupes - a 20min stagger west of Kettlesing. OS map available on request.

Q & A
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
Is there transportation being provided between reception and hotels?
For those who are staying in Harrogate and surrounds we have hired a coach to go from the town centre to the venue and then back after the wedding. It seats 70 people, so first come first served, please indicate on the RSVP whether or not you will require this. Thanks :-)
Tetleys Coach will pick up from the top of Montpellier Hill in Harrogate - adjacent to regular bus stop and near the green ice cream hut.

What3Words:
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little (and not so little) ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. This is because it's a fairly small village hall and space is limited. Please reach out if you have questions!
Where should I park?
For those who wish to drive there is a large car park at Kettlesing Village Hall.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Both!
The ceremony is indoors, but if the weather is fine we'll be throwing open the large doors of the hall onto the green area.
The food will be street food style outside though, but you can bring your plates back inside if the weather is wet.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them. Please do have phones on silent for the ceremony and speeches though ;-)
Will there be a bar?
Yes. The cash/card bar is being provided at the venue by The Queen's Head pub in Kettlesing. There will be the usual selection of drinks available to suit people's tastes.
There will be at least one barrel of Landlord and one keg of Moretti provided by the wedding party, as well as a toast later on.
Bring monies for the gins, shots and extra drinks though!
Registry
Your presence is enough of a gift to us.
However for those who insist, we plan a little honeymoon road trip adventure in 2024 from Colorado to California. (Michelle has wanted to see General Sherman ,the giant Redwood, since she was 4)

Groom and Guests Arrive
1:00 PM
The bar will be open on arrival at the hall, so get there early and mingle/natter.
Please do wear what you want - BUT it's a wedding and we all love a good dress up. Jeans, spats or muumuus are also acceptable for comfort.
Ceremony begins
2:00 PM
We are having a non-religious, humanist wedding ceremony. This is being led by the wonderful Christine ()
It's a bit like a civil ceremony, but more bespoke and personal to us.
If you are prone to lachrymosity like Michelle, bring tissues or pack a hanky.
Speeches but not too long and boring so don't worry
4:15 PM to 5:00 PM
Dinner (outside) 🥐🥓🥂
5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Your choice of street food! We have fish n chips and a barbecue to choose from for mains. Vegan/veggie and kosher options will be available.
There's a little ice cream stall for afters too.
We don't care at this point if you get ketchup down your shirt. Formal photos will be done!
First Dance
7:30 PM
Then banging tunes. Dave likes metal and Michelle likes musicals, so there will be something for everyone :-)
Bacon / Vegan Rolls

Panic ye not...we will be supplying bacon butties, with vegan/ kosher alternatives.
Promise promise that y'all get back to boogie-ing straight afterwards, mind...
Slightly squiffy, sweaty and dishevelled from all that dancing please
