Story
We met in June of 2015 on a hot summer Parisian day when we had both started our internships at the OECD. Over the course of a couple of months, David slowly but surely forced his way into Francesca’s life by offering her tea every day at the office. David would say that we were on a “date”, which Francesca thought was a joke. Apparently, it wasn’t a joke.
One day, David hosted dinner at his place for some of the interns including Francesca, of course. Conveniently, David was also dog-sitting a very cute dog (this becomes important for the story later). After some good tacos (David can share the name and number of his taco dealer to whoever wants it), everyone decided it was time to go home. Francesca didn’t live too far, so decided to walk home. The dog becomes important here, because David needed to walk the dog before bed so said he would walk her home. The two of them were walking through the streets of Paris until they stopped at one of the most romantic spots in the whole city, the Centre Pompidou (lol). Our memories are a bit blurry here, but in our minds the dog was running around, twirling us in his leash, and we got so caught up in the moment that we had our first kiss.
Moral of the story, be careful who you have tea with.
