We met online - both swiped right! and one of our first conversations was about one of our favorite pasttimes - the TV show - the Fresh Prince (of Belair - I happened to be living in Belair, Luxembourg and it was all too reminiscent). So we decided to meet in person in late October 2019 in a cafe called Max + Moritz in Belair. We sat and talked until 1am - about photography, about space, about the forest, nature and travel. While we didn't 'know' at that moment - what we did know is that there was something very special and unlike any first date either of us had ever had.

Wir haben uns online kennengelernt - beide haben nach rechts geswiped und eine unserer ersten Unterhaltungen drehte sich um etwas das wir beide liebten - die Fernsehserie - der Fresh Prince von Belair (Deborah lebte zufällig in Belair, Luxemburg und es erinnerte uns nur allzu sehr daran). Also beschlossen wir uns Ende Oktober 2019 persönlich in einem Café namens „Max und Moritz“ in Belair zu treffen. Wir saßen da und redeten bis 1 Uhr morgens - über Fotografie, über den Weltraum, über den Wald, die Natur und das Reisen. In diesem Moment "wussten" wir es noch nicht, aber wir wussten, dass es etwas ganz Besonderes war und anders als jedes Date das wir je hatten.
