Story
We were next door neighbors our freshman year of college at Towson University. We quickly became friends and would often stay up late talking, mostly about Amanda's boy drama. Throughout Sophomore and Junior year, our friend group drifted apart and we rarely saw each other.
The summer before Senior year, we happened to run into each other at an off campus gym and instantly rekindled our friendship. We spent nearly every day together as friends, until one night when Amanda drunkenly told Tyler she had a crush on him. Shortly after that we began dating, and now six years later, we're getting married!

What was your most memorable date?
Well, we were originally supposed to go on a sunset dinner cruise for our 5 year anniversary in Hilton Head, South Carolina, but we accidentally showed up a day late. We were able to switch our tickets for a dolphin sunset cruise that night, thankfully. We spent the whole evening laughing at our foolishness for mixing up the dates and at how happy we were just being together.
What's your favorite activity together?
We love to go for long walks (specifically with our cats in a stroller) and to try new restaurants.
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
For the last few years, we've casually talked about taking a trip to Greece. We've never gotten around to planning it, so we think our honeymoon would be the perfect time to finally do it!
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
Definitely our first trip to the Outer Banks! We spent the majority of our time relaxing by the pool, or taking the golf cart the owners had to local shops. On the night of the 4th of July, we decided to ride around the neighborhood in the golf cart and managed to find some amazing views of the fireworks. It was the vacation of our childhood dreams!

The most spontaneous thing we’ve done
On a random Tuesday in October 2023, we decided to go to our local animal shelter and adopt a cat. That is the short and sweet story of how we got our second cat, Poe. :)

What will the weather be like?
Welcome to Maryland, where we experience all four seasons in one week! The weather here can be funny. During the day, the weather should (hopefully) be beautiful, averaging 75-85 degrees, but may get chilly at night. It often rains in the Spring here in Maryland, so take that into consideration when choosing your attire. If you're prone to being cold, we recommend brining a light sweater or jacket for the evening!
Where should I park?
There is plenty of free parking in the "Guest Parking" lot. Look for the sign when entering the venue!
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes, and the venue will have a golf cart available for anyone needing assistance getting around the property!
What should I wear?
The dress code is semi-formal. This looks like a suit with a shirt and tie, a blazer with dress pants and a dress shirt, a cocktail dress, a dressy skirt and blouse, or a mid-length or short dress. Tuxedos and floor-length gowns are a little too much, but the likes of khakis, jeans, and polo shirts are far too little.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Plan A (shine): The wedding ceremony will outdoors, and the reception will be inside the main barn.
Plan B (rain): The wedding ceremony and reception will take place inside the main barn.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
The ceremony will take place outdoors in a grassy area, so we recommend staying away from stiletto heels. Please do not wear tennis shoes, flip flops, or similar casual footwear.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have a photographer for that! :)
You are more than welcome to take photos during the reception, in fact, we encourage you to! However, please be mindful of our wedding photographer, Rachel, and her assistant photographer.
