Q&A (Incl Covid)
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
When is the RSVP deadline?
We would appreciate it if you could RSVP as soon as possible please!
Are babies / children invited?
Babies and children very welcome at all events, although children under 6 won’t be able to take part in the canoeing.
We would also recommend hiring a babysitter for the Saturday evening so you can dance the night away without worrying! The babysitters will come to Château Rigaud and there is an excellent playroom and cinema where the children can be looked after. To book a babysitter please get in touch directly with our planner Hayley (hayley@chateaurigaud.com)
Travel on the wedding day
We recommend driving to the church and then on to Chateau Rigaud. Cars can be left overnight at Rigaud and collected on Sunday. We will organise minibuses at the end of the night for all those staying within a 15 minute drive of Chateau Rigaud - these will run from midnight until 3am.
What COVID safety precautions are being taken?
We appreciate this may be the first time people have travelled out of the UK so to give you comfort, most of the wedding reception will happen outside, or in a fairly open barn. Also Chateau Rigaud have confirmed that all of their staff will be double vaccinated by September. If you do have any concerns please ask one of us. Finally all guests are anticipated to being fully vaccinated (primarily due to entry requirements into France).

What do I do about the pre-return flight COVID test?
If you are arriving at Bordeaux airport on Friday, we would recommend booking in for a €30 antigen test on arrival (which will count for your departure if you fly back to the UK on Monday):
Alternatively, there is a testing site 10 minutes away from Rigaud, in Castillion:
Guests should click on the "Covid-19" RDV button and this will take them to the booking page.
Where do I get a UK Day 2 Test from?
We would recommend Randox, we have used them a number of times and it is £43 with this code BritishAirways43:
