Q & A
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by 30th November :)
Can I bring a date?
Please check your invite for your +1!
Are kids welcome?
We are so lucky to have so many gorgeous children in our lives, however we have decided to keep our reception an adults-only event. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day.
(newborns are of course welcome)
What will the weather be like?
March/April is the best time to visit our little town. If you are traveling a long distance for the wedding, please consider using the Easter public holidays for a mini get away! At this time of year, mornings and evenings are cool, winds "should" be light, and hopefully the sun is still warm during the day.
Camping at the reception
As the Hall is out of town, we strongly encourage you to bring your camping set up and stay the night. There is plenty of room around the Hall or in the nearby scrub for that real country wedding experience.
If the thought of waking up a little dusty in a swag isn't for you - we are also organising a bus that will be doing a few trips between Sceales and Streaky. Either way, we've got you covered!
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes, there will be adequate seating provided at both the ceremony and reception.
What should I wear?
Enjoy the opportunity to dress up - but please do not stress! We love all our friends the way they are :) Keep it beachy, cocktail, casual!
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors weather pending, and our reception will be in a Hall.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
We are lucky enough to have a BRILLIANT photographer for the ceremony, so please pop your phones away, relax and enjoy while she snaps away.
After the ceremony - Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them however you please!
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. There are a bunch of sandy/dirt areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals. Can't have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles.
Gifts
Your presence at our wedding is the GREATEST gift of all, especially those travelling long distances to make our day (we love you all!).
However, if you are persistent and would like to honour us with a gift or card with some words of wisdom, we will have a wishing well at the reception.
