They Swiped Right
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Tristan, who had been searching for love in all the wrong places. That was until she stumbled upon Hinge. Yes, that's right. This is a dating app story. There, she saw the profile of a man named Tanner, whose smile made her heart skip a beat.... Well actually they thought "he looked like a tool"... Kristina's words.
They agreed to meet at Postino's, a charming little spot in Tucson, where they ate, drank, and talked for hours. They quickly discovered they shared a mutual love for Linkin Park, Harry Potter and Jesus (not necessarily in that order), and they both knew they had found something special. From then on, they went on countless dates to all sorts of fun places. Spending time with each other and most importantly, Tristan's son, Elijah.
Now, as they look back on their journey together, they can't help but laugh at all the funny moments they shared along the way. From their quirky conversations on a curb outside Cold Stone to the time they got lost in New York and ended up in a seedy alleyway (they laugh about that one now), they have been through it all. But through the ups and downs, the laughter and the tears, they know they have found their "roll" mate in each other. And that, my friends, is a love story worth telling.
Tidbits
How did you Propose?
Tanner planned a special proposal at Bell Rock in Sedona, with the help of their friends Josh and Tammy. As they hiked up the red rock, Tanner got down on one knee, rolled a charisma check, and asked Tristan to marry him.
What's your favorite activity together?
When not playing DND or taking care of the little one, Our "Jar Dates". We have a jar of restaurants we haven't been to yet. On date nights, we blindly pull a name and go order the server's favorite dish or most popular. It's never let us down and is always an adventure.
Who's going to do the dishes?
Tristan, and then redone by Tanner because she didn't load the dishwasher correctly ;)
Where is your Honeymoon going to be?
Country Thunder...just kidding. Probably somewhere adventurous like Peru, Scotland, or wherever they filmed Lord of the Rings.

Q & A
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by February 5th, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)
Can I bring a date?
We unfortunately have limited seating and are keeping this to close friends and family.
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones as we have one of our own, we unfortunately will not be able to accommodate children over 3 years old outside of our wedding party. Please reach out if you have questions!
What will the weather be like?
Welcome to Arizona, all of you out-of-towners! The weather here can be funny. During the day, the weather in Tucson should be beautiful, averaging 75-80 degrees, but will get chilly at night.... That is chilly for us west-coasters.
Where should I park?
There is plenty of free parking near the entrance of the Ranch but please be aware that the ranch doesn't open until 9am Sunday morning if you plan on taking an uber home ;)
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
If you need accommodations. Please let us know. Since the ground is uneven, we will have a golf cart available for anyone needing assistance getting around the property!
What should I wear?
Please see our Schedule for the dress code but we encourage you to wear our wedding colors! It looks great for photo - Sage, Rust, Dark Teal and/ or Marigold.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be in a large hay barn :)
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. There are a bunch of grassy/dirt areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals. Can't have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them on our app Joy!
Whom should I call with questions?
Please call our lovely groom to be, Tanner at 520-665-1085 anytime before April 6th. On the wedding day Tyler, The Best Man / Brother (520-481-7443) can assist you with your needs.
