Hannah and Chris met at a Ken & Barbie themed kickboxing social in 2014. Due to a lack of competition, Chris managed to win a £50 bar tab for best Ken. The rest was history after the pair shared several Jagerbombs.

Throughout their 8 year relationship, Chris and Hannah have spent most of this time living in different cities. Many weekends were spent travelling across country to see each other, with the worst by far being the five hour coach ride between Bath and Plymouth when Hannah was on placement during her undergrad.

In March 2020, Chris arrived at Hannah's student house in Southampton with a small bag of clothes and a handful of belongings, expecting to only have to work from home for a couple weeks. Four months and a few arguments later, as lockdown restrictions slowly eased, Hannah & Chris had just survived living together for the first time, a clear sign of things to come!

Chris started planning the proposal a year in advance and roped in both sets of parents to help make it a memorable day. Arriving in Bath at the end of August 2021, Hannah thought she would be spending the weekend meeting up with friends from both their University days. However, after dodging a travelling circus and many heavy showers, Chris finally managed to ask Hannah the question in the beautiful Victoria Park. The first round of deception complete, the happy couple headed to a nearby Tearoom where Hannah expected Champagne afternoon tea with friends - only to be disappointed to find both sets of parents waiting to great her.

In December 2022, Hannah and Chris finally moved into their first home together in Cambridge, and spent the next month sleeping on an airbed and learning how to strip wallpaper. They look forward to greeting many of you over the next year in their new home!
