It was October 27, 2007 and my best friend Lacey invited me to a Halloween work party at Myst Nightclub. The music was pumping and everyone was dancing, drinking and having a great time. At the party, Lacey introduced me to her co-worker, Goran. I was wearing my nurse costume and staring at this cute guy in an orange prison jumpsuit. We hit it off right away. We had a few shots, danced all night long and had our first kiss. The night came to an end and we both went our separate ways without ever exchanging phone numbers. That was the first and last time I saw Goran, well that was until September 24, 2011.

It was a Saturday night, Lacey and I were getting ready for a girls night out when Lacey asked me, "Hey do you remember that guy Goran from Halloween from a few years ago"? Heck ya I remember him! Goran was hosting an event for a nightclub in Scottsdale and Lacey asked if I wanted to go. Long story short, we went to the nightclub, Goran and I picked right back up from where we left off and this time around we exchanged phone numbers. A few days later Goran asked me out on an official date.

During our first date, which was nothing short of perfect, I found out that Goran had asked Lacey for my phone number after that 2007 Halloween party. Lacey figured that we were at two completely different stages in our life and she never gave Goran my phone number nor mentioned anything to me about it. I guess you can say that it was destiny that put us together almost four years later.......and the rest is history.
