When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by the 1st of June. We understand we might not know by then what the restrictions will be, so just let us know if there are any issues.
When should I book accommodation?
We recommend booking accommodation ASAP due to this area being popular with tourists. Lots are available on Booking.com with free cancellation, in case restrictions are still in place.
Where should I park?
There is parking available at the venue and cars can be left overnight. We will also be arranging shuttle taxis to take our guests to/from their accommodation if they prefer.
Is there transportation being provided between reception and hotels?
There will be shuttle taxis between the venue and local hotels. We will be in touch to arrange this nearer the time.
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably for a Scottish summer wedding (prepare for all weathers!) and lots of dancing.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony will be held outdoors if the weather allows but the reception will be indoors.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
We ask that you don't take any photos during the ceremony and leave it to our photographer. You are more than welcome to take photos during the rest of the wedding.
Can I bring a date?
Only people named on the invite are invited to the wedding. We may have to reduce numbers due to Covid (hopefully not!) and will be in touch if we do.
Are children invited?
We are happy for children to attend our wedding, but understand that some of you would prefer a night off so we will leave it up to you. Let us know either way when you RSVP.
