Story

Now the story of how Shyama & Hursh met is no Bollywood film, to say the least - if you want one of those, some highly recommended films are the likes of Maine Pyar Kiya, DDLJ or any other Bollywood film from the 80s/'90s or early '00s. Having crossed paths a few times, eventually, they became a part of the same friend's group - hanging out and talking to the same people - except for hanging out and talking to each other. This was to the extent that, one day, having been the only ones in the library out of the whole friend's group - they both said hi to each other, exchanged short pleasantries. then immediately put their perspective headphones in and got down to working on their own degree subjects - you can guess who was listening to what :)

This continued for a whole academic year (except when Shyama made a t-shirt for Hursh and 2 other mutual friends where they had a little more interaction). Until - the beginning of the next academic year, where Shyama lived around the block to 2 houses, home to some of those mutual friends. Hursh was staying in one of the houses, where he was lodging due to practically being homeless - and as more dinners, parties and hang-outs took place, a flourishing friendship developed and soon ...well, cut a long story short - Hursh asked Shyama out for a dinner way too expensive for a student - they made each other laugh - and have been laughing (& eating good food) ever since.
