Story
The first time I saw Izzie, I was sitting outside the Einstein Bros. Bagels just across from the Student Union on campus as she was leaving the Business Administration 1 building. I remember having a conversation with God and Him telling me "that's your future wife." Although I did not take the opportunity to introduce myself that day, I had faith that we would eventually cross paths...and cross paths we did...more than a handful of times. Neither of us would say anything though, just smiled at each other and kept it moving.
Until one day, I walked in the gym and saw her working Member Services. The usual interaction took place, just smiled at each other but didn't speak. I left with a sense of regret but I still believed that there would be another opportunity.
A little over two months later, I decided to get a quick workout in before my weekly staff meeting. To my surprise, I saw Izzie at the gym but didn't want to be cliche and approach her at the gym (which is eventually what happened). My workout was cut short because I forgot that the meeting was moved to an earlier time, which was another missed chance to speak to her.
Later that day, I went back to the gym to complete my workout and was shocked to see that she was working the closing shift at the gym. That was the night that changed our lives completely! One conversation turned into a lifelong partnership.

Hotel Recommendation List
Our preferred recommendation is one of the Barceló Maya resorts. The resorts include:
• Barceló Maya Palace
• Barceló Maya Riviera - Adults only
• Barceló Maya Caribe
• Barceló Maya Tropical
• Barceló Maya Colonial
• Barceló Maya Beach (recommended for those traveling with the youngsters!)
The Barceló Maya resorts are all inclusive so you don't have to worry about food accommodations. Feel free to check out any local restaurants that you find if you would like to try authentic cuisine. They are also 12 - 15 minutes from the wedding venue.
Another hotel we recommend is the Paamul Hotel & Beach Club. This is a more affordable option located next to the wedding venue (5 min. drive), but it's a smaller hotel. If it's completely booked, checked back regularly to see if any rooms become available. It is not all inclusive but does have a restaurant onsite.
Lastly, for those really looking to treat themselves, the TRS Yucatan Hotel is a great choice if you're looking for private and luxurious getaway with activities such as snorkeling, yoga, and kayaking. This hotel is adults only.

Q & A
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by August 14th, so we can have an accurate headcount.
Will there be a deposit?
No, there will be no deposit.
Can I bring a date?
Please check your invite for your +1! If you need a +1, let us know and we can work something out.
Are kids welcome?
Yes!
What will the weather be like?
During the day, the weather in Riviera Maya should be beautiful, ranging in the 70s and 80s, but will get chilly at night (low 70s). Please bring some warm layers for the evening.
What should I wear?
Please see our Schedule for the recommended attire.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors by the shore, but our reception will be in a Palapa.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. There are a bunch of grassy/sandy areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals. Can't have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles. Other than that, sticking to the attire we have outlined in the schedule will be perfect.
Is there transportation being provided between reception and hotels?
Yes!
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them with us. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
Whom should I call with questions?
Please call or text Isabelle or Bradley with any questions.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
Please outline this in you RSVP response.
Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?
White and neon colors.
