Wedding Ceremony

The Ceremony will be held at the outdoor Gazebo at Panorama House.

The Wedding Party will be taking photos after the ceremony and before the reception at Sandon Point. During this time, the bar in the Foyer are of Panorama House has been booked for guests to chill out until the Reception starts.

Reception will be held in the Pacific Room at Panorama House.
The schedule is as follows:

7:20 pm Dessert and Speeches

8:15 pm Bouquet Toss and other games
8:45 Dancing
11:00 pm Goodbyes and home-time

Shuttle Bus 🚌

A shuttle bus* will make a single trip from Panorama House, down through Thirroul then Wollongong, leaving at 11pm. For a list of the locations of each Stop, please click the following link:

Free Parking at Venue

There is a large free car park at the venue.
Unfortunately not a lot of ubers or public transport around this area.
This is why we have organised a shuttle bus for the end of the evening.

There is a shuttle bus to help guests get back to their hotels at the end of the reception (11 pm).

Are kids welcome?

Regrettably, our chosen venue is unable to accommodate children under 12, so unless you have an infant and need to keep them with you at all times, we politely ask that you have the night off and leave the kids at home so you can relax and enjoy!

What will the weather be like?

The venue is at the top of a tall cliff, so it could be quite windy. Otherwise, the weather will be much like Wollongong.

Where should I park?

There is plenty of free parking in the venue near the entrance of the Ceremony.

What should I wear?

Cocktail attire.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors (weather permitting), but our reception will be indoors in the Pacific Room.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them on the Facebook or here on Joy.

Is there a gift registry?

There is a wishing well, but no gift registry.
We are planning to use any gifts to help renovate our new home.

Where can I find updates regarding the Covid-19 situation?

Is there transportation being provided between reception and hotels?

Yes, please see the transportation section for further details.

Will there be dancing?

Absolutely! There will also be a live band.

Will I get a chance to take professional photos with the couple?

Yes, we will have a professional photographer and videographer throughout the entire Reception where you can have photos taken.

What should/could I do between the ceremony and the reception?

The Foyer area has been booked, where drinks can be purchased. Even if you aren't interested in drinking, it is a nice cool place to chill out in the air-conditioning.

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Whatever makes you comfortable is great!

How do I access the live stream?

The livestream will be posted on the facebook page created by Di (Jacobs mum)
